Field Trip to Reliance Mart – Montessori
The Montessori students of Prudence International School embarked on an exciting and educational field trip to Reliance Mart, transforming everyday shopping into a meaningful learning experience. The visit provided children with an opportunity to observe a real-world environment and connect classroom concepts with practical life.
The young learners explored different sections of the supermarket, identified various food items and household products, and observed how products are arranged and organised. They were introduced to basic concepts such as buying and selling, categorisation, quantity, price, and making choices.
The field trip also encouraged children to develop essential practical-life skills, social awareness, communication, and confidence. It was a joyful and enriching experience that made learning hands-on, purposeful, and connected to everyday life.
Educational Field Trip to Malasandra Milk Dairy
Students of Grades 1 and 2 at Prudence International School embarked on an enriching educational field trip to Malasandra Milk Dairy. The visit provided students with an opportunity to connect their classroom learning with real-life experiences and understand the journey of milk from the dairy to our homes.
During the visit, students observed the various stages involved in milk collection, processing, quality checking, storage, and distribution. They also learnt about the different milk products prepared from milk, such as curd, butter, ghee, paneer, cheese, flavoured milk, and other dairy products.
The experience helped students understand the importance of nutrition, hygiene, cleanliness, and proper food handling. It also encouraged them to appreciate the effort and processes involved in bringing nutritious dairy products to our tables.
The field trip was a joyful and memorable learning experience that promoted observation, curiosity, practical understanding, and awareness of healthy food choices, making learning truly meaningful beyond the classroom.
