LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE: PIRS CELEBRATES FOUNDER'S DAY 2026
Prudence International Residential School, under Benaka Education & Charitable Trust, celebrated Founder's Day on January 8, 2026, honoring its rich heritage and commitment to educational excellence.
The celebration commenced with a soulful invocation by the PIRS Choir, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony symbolizing the eternal flame of knowledge. Mr. Vijaykumar V. Kulkarni, Administrator of PIRS, warmly welcomed all attendees.
Prof. G.S. Renukappa, President of Benaka Education & Charitable Trust, delivered an inspiring Presidential Address outlining the institution's journey and future vision. Mr. Rudresh Kumar, Secretary of Prudence Group of Institution, shared the Founder's Insights, highlighting the visionary principles that have shaped PIRS.
Students showcased their talents through mesmerizing classical dance performances, demonstrating the institution's commitment to holistic development. A standout feature was " "Portraits of Purpose: A Founder's Day Mosaic" a creative visual presentation chronicling the founders' transformative impact over the years. The program's most touching segment featured Ms. Anvitha, Trustee of our institution, who captivated the audience with her personal reminiscences about her father, adding depth and emotion to the celebration.
A hiking trip to Mandaragiri was thoughtfully arranged as a refreshing and memorable addition to the day's celebrations. Faculty members from all colleges participated enthusiastically in this outdoor adventure, which served as both physical recreation and an opportunity for team bonding. The hike created shared experiences and allowed colleagues to interact in a relaxed, natural setting, further strengthening the institutional family spirit.
As PIRS advances its educational mission, it stays rooted in its foundational values while adapting innovatively to address the dynamic demands of modern education.
